"Some positives, but room for improvement"

My daughter started at Howden School this year and while we're happy with the school's values and facilities, we've had some issues with communication between the teachers and parents. The school's focus on mental health is excellent, and the staff are always willing to listen. However, we've noticed that the school could do more to involve parents in the decision-making process.

"Excellent teachers and facilities! "

We've been with Howden School for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. The teachers are amazing, they really care about each student's progress and go above and beyond to help them succeed. My child loves the facilities, especially the sports centre and the library. The school values of aspiration, courtesy and excellence are truly reflected in the daily life of the school.

"Outstanding school with a focus on mental health!"

My son attended Howden School from Year 7 to Year 11 and we were thoroughly impressed with the school's focus on mental health through the Turing House charity, Mind. The school's values of aspiration, courtesy, and excellence were evident in every aspect of the school, and the staff were always approachable and willing to help. My son's time at Howden School was truly transformative, and I highly recommend it.
