Main difficulty: If you have a child with additional needs then this is the worse school to consider as they cant support your child. They have no recourses and teachers are not properly trained in the subject. They have Senco team but they function on outside of the school not being properly integrated in the school system.
Area: Behaviour support, Inclusion / SEND, Leadership, Communication
Example: My child was in isolation most of the year and massively dropped in education then eventually suspended.
What could improve: Better training for SEND, communication with parents, regular reviews.
Impact on my child: Confidence, Behavioural changes, Enjoyment, Academic progress, Stress/anxiety. My child was very unhappy in the school.
School responsiveness: Limited or unclear response
Inclusion support: Poorly. lack of training
Summary: Very poor support for SEND kids

"A great start to secondary school!"

Our son has only been at TDMS for a term now, but we are so impressed with the welcome he's received and the support he's getting from his teachers. The school's commitment to literacy and creativity is evident in everything they do, and we love the fact that they encourage the children to take risks and try new things. We're looking forward to seeing our son flourish at TDMS.

"TDMS has exceeded our expectations!"

We moved to Evesham a year ago and were worried about the school change for our daughter. However, TDMS has been amazing. The facilities are excellent, the staff are supportive and the values they instill in the children are fantastic. We've seen a huge improvement in our daughter's confidence and attitude towards learning. We can't thank the school enough for the opportunities they have provided.

"Not without its challenges..."

My daughter graduated from TDMS a few years ago, and while we were pleased with her progress, we did find the school's approach to pastoral care to be quite strict at times. The facilities are excellent, and the teachers are knowledgeable, but we felt that the school could do more to support children with additional needs. Overall, it was an okay experience, but we've since moved to a school with a more flexible approach.
