Review of Harris Garrard Academy – June 18, 2025

On June 18, 2025, a troubling incident occurred at Harris Garrard Academy. A student threatened another with a knife, which understandably caused significant fear and distress. However, the reception staff has been unhelpful, frequently communicating only with the parents and showing little concern for the students. This boy’s mother has repeatedly complained about bullying, but it seems the school has ignored her concerns.

The ongoing bullying and lack of adequate response from the school have left the student feeling unsafe, and his mother’s efforts to get proper attention for the issue have been disregarded. It is unclear what actions the school has taken to ensure the safety of this student and others involved.

The boy’s stress and fear continue to grow, and the situation appears to be unresolved. The school has not provided clear answers regarding how they plan to address these issues or compensate for the emotional and psychological distress caused.

As a concerned parent, I urge you to be cautious about sending your children to Harris Garrard Academy. The lack of attention to bullying and student safety raises serious concerns. Please consider the well-being of your child before making any decisions about this school.

Worse school ever. Teachers are pedos. They wouldn't allow you to use the toilet unless you have a note from a doctor even if your a girl on her period you had to prove you was on!! They put you in a 2 hour detention despite it being winter and getting dark early. They used to take your phone for over 2 months and parents could never claim the phone back. when I started the school in 2017 it was winter so I wore trousers and got suspended for wearing trousers!!!!

Absolute dog shit. Most of the teachers suck, they raise absolutely feral kids. They are way to strict unnecessarily, don’t take time to learn about kids or how to pronounce their names, the toilets are always dirty, the only thing that’s good about them is…. I can’t think of anything 😂😂

It's the worst school I've ever been to, I experienced bullying, and one time, I was accused of calling someone fat, and they didn't listen. And they also have very strict rules, like for example if you don't have your shirt tucked you get sent to isolation for your punishment. Don't send your child to this shit school.
