About Oakwood Academy
Oakwood Academy is a special school for pupils aged 9-19 years who have a range of moderate and/or complex learning difficulties. We encourage pupils to respect the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Our hope is that we can help children to become responsible citizens who will make a positive contribution to our ever changing society.

"Excellent school!"
The teaching staff at Oakwood Academy are knowledgeable, and the school's focus on British values and inclusion is impressive. I appreciate the Parent View system, which allows me to provide feedback.

"Good but needs improvement"
My child has settled well at Oakwood Academy, but I feel that the communication between school and parents could be better. The school's facilities are modern, and the staff are generally friendly.

My child has excelled at Oakwood Academy. The staff are supportive, and the facilities are excellent. The 'Believe, Achieve, Succeed' ethos really resonates with my child.

"Amazing school for my child!"
I was impressed with the way Oakwood Academy supported my child's transition from primary to secondary school. The curriculum is well-structured, and the extracurricular activities are fantastic.
