"A wonderful school community!"

My daughter has been thriving at Durham Academy since starting in Year 5. I love the emphasis on being confident, ambitious and respectful - it's a great foundation for her future. The new build is looking fantastic and we can't wait to see the new facilities in action.

"Supportive staff and great facilities"

I've been really impressed with the support my daughter has received from the staff at Durham Academy. The new build looks amazing and I'm excited to see the specialist subject hubs and outdoor learning spaces in action.

"Some mixed feelings"

My son is still young and it's hard to say for sure what the future holds. However, we've had some issues with communication from the school and I'm not entirely convinced about the PSHE programme. That being said, the staff seem friendly and the facilities are looking good.

"Excellent education and values"

We moved to a new area and my son had to leave Durham Academy in Year 9. He was really sad to go, but I'm so grateful for the education and values he received during his time there. The school really helped him grow into a confident and responsible young person.
