"absolutely obsessed with attendance"

shit school they don’t care about your mental health at all. my friend was literally about to faint and she was so pale but all mr mason said was to wait until lunch and see how she’s feeling then. like wtf her legs literally felt like jelly and water wont fix that… they’re literally like “let’s ruin our students health just so they get a perfect attendance!” and medical never does shit either they js tell u to drink more water and go back to lesson…

"Insider view of Queensbury School"

Excellent School, constantly striving for excellence in teaching and learning. Staff are totally committed to students well being and academic success. In terms of nurturing each individual and giving them the tools and skills to thrive, I believe you would be hard pressed to find a more dedicated Staff Team. I have personally witnessed this first hand and feel privileged to have had this experience.
The students have respect and good manners in the main, also good rapport with their teachers.
Staff are extremely supportive, caring and fair, and discipline is encouraged through the demonstration of and the reward of desired behaviours, mutual respect and dedication. Good ethics and kindness are most apparent, which is noteworthy. The community and local business could support the School as it would be mutually beneficial.
The atmosphere in the School is friendly, welcoming and fun. Attendance is excellent.
The School, like most would benefit from investment, this should be seen for what it is, namely the key to a thriving community both now and certainly in the future.
With the size of the site, the possibilities are endless.
Thoroughly recommended School for your children.

"Worst school around"

1 Star too many in my opinion. My daughter is in year 7 and has never been in trouble at school her entire school life. She tries hard but is left feeling emotionally drained and a failure. The teachers all seem to be useless and cover staff can’t control any of them. Detentions are given out like sweets on Halloween, and I get the feeling the teachers get something out of it, maybe theirs a competition going on amongst themselves. Their Safeguarding is appalling, the school have never dealt with me face to face, I was able to go in and collect my daughter no questions asked, if a child was being groomed, the groomer could easily go and collect that child at any point, no emails were checked, no ID was asked for and as a DSL myself I will be contacting OFSTED about this. As this is a massive red flag. Queensbury is a perfect example of why young people’s mental health is at an all time low, and god forbid my daughter begins self harming, Queensbury will be the reason. Don’t send your child here if you want them to be confident and have their self esteem intact. The worst school around I’m 100% sure, I know how OFSTED works, I work in education myself, so does the majority of my family and friends and from what I and they have witnessed and been told, they wouldn’t send anyone there that was loved. I’m not afraid to report this school and I’ll do whatever it takes to get rid of the vindictive fake head teacher there, awful woman.

If you love your children, stay away from Queensbury Acadamy.

"Do not go here!"

Horrible place. Bullying constantly and teachers do nothing to help. Barely have teachers for the subjects, constantly having supply teachers who can’t teach, and not to mention the multiple sexual predators that they hire as teachers.
