"Some ups and downs"

We've had a mixed experience at Barton Junior so far. The teachers are generally great, but we've had some issues with communication and organisation. We love the school's focus on creativity and critical thinking, and our child has really benefited from the violin lessons. However, we feel that the school could do more to support children with special needs - it's been a bit of a challenge for us to get the help we need.

"A great community!"

We've been at Barton Junior for a few years now and can't say enough about the school. The teachers are excellent and really care about the children. The school's values of kindness, respect, and empathy are something we value deeply and are proud to see our children embody. We love the sports and extracurricular activities too - our child has made some wonderful friends through the school's football team.

"Exceeded our expectations!"

We moved to Dover for my husband's job and were worried about the school for our daughter. Barton Junior has been a wonderful surprise! The teachers are kind and supportive, and the facilities are great. We love the Forest School program - it's been a fantastic way for our daughter to get outside and learn. We feel so lucky to have found this school.

"A great foundation for our child's education"

We moved away from Dover a few years ago, but our child still talks fondly of their time at Barton Junior. The school did a great job of preparing them for secondary school and helping them develop a love of learning. We appreciate the school's commitment to diversity and inclusion - it was wonderful to see our child thrive in the school's supportive environment.
