About Bawdeswell Community Primary School

We are a small rural school, serving the village of Bawdeswell and the surrounding areas. We aim for our children to learn about the world around them through a rich curriculum which incorporates different learning experiences, environments and opportunities. We have established international links with schools in Asia and Africa, so that our children can begin to understand the world beyond our locality, whilst also building friendships across the world.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We've had a mixed experience at Bawdeswell Primary so far. The school's focus on international links is really interesting and our child loves learning about different cultures. However, we've sometimes struggled to get in touch with the teachers and feel that the curriculum could be more varied. Overall, it's a good school, but there's room for improvement.

"Excellent facilities and values"

Our child is thriving at Bawdeswell Primary and we're so impressed with the school's emphasis on teamwork and kindness. The facilities are fantastic, especially the outdoor spaces, and the teachers are always willing to listen and help. We're grateful for the school's supportive community.

"A wonderful school community!"

We moved to the area when our child was in Reception and Bawdeswell Primary was the perfect choice. The outdoor spaces and woodland area were a highlight for our child, and the teachers were always so supportive. We've made lifelong friends with other parents and will always treasure our time at the school.
