"Excellent experience at Hackwood Primary Academy"

We moved to the area and were so impressed with the facilities and the teachers at Hackwood. Our child's progress is amazing and their phonics skills are far ahead of their peers. The Hackwood Expectations are really evident in the children's behaviour and attitude to learning. We couldn't be happier.

"Fantastic school with a great vision"

My child has been at Hackwood for 3 years and we've seen some amazing developments. The INSPIRE Curriculum is really engaging and the staff are dedicated to helping the children succeed. The school tour was also really helpful in getting a sense of the school's values and ethos. Highly recommended.

"A mixed experience at Hackwood"

My child left Hackwood a year ago and while we were generally pleased with the school, there were some issues with communication with the teachers. The school tour was helpful in showing us the facilities and the children were always friendly. However, the school's emphasis on certain values sometimes felt a bit too rigid. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not outstanding in our opinion.
