About Northgate Primary School

Northgate Primary School is set in extensive grounds which, along with its location close to the town centre offer many learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Our beautiful grounds have an allotment, sensory garden, Forest School area and two ponds.

"Our Child Thriving at Northgate"

Our child has been at Northgate Primary School for a year now and we've seen a significant improvement in their confidence and enthusiasm for learning. The school's focus on Outdoor Learning and Forest School has been fantastic for them, and they love the gardening project. The teachers are all very friendly and approachable. We feel very lucky to have found such a great school.

"Excellent School, Friendly Staff"

My son loves going to Northgate Primary School. The facilities are excellent, especially the Forest School area where he's learned so much about nature and the environment. The staff are very supportive and always willing to help. I'm so impressed with the school's values of Curiosity, Ambition, Resilience, Empathy and Respect.

"Mixed Feelings about Northgate"

We moved our child to Northgate Primary School from another school in the area, and we've had mixed experiences. The staff are generally friendly, and the facilities are good, but we've had some issues with communication and organization. The school's values and Outdoor Learning program are great, but we feel that the school could do more to support children with special needs. Overall, it's been a decent experience, but we're not entirely satisfied.
