"miss mead"

miss mead is more worried about the reputation on “her school” than the children’s wellbeing and safeguarding. she bosses all the teachers about and tells them to sort out the students that are ruining the school’s reputation. if the teachers fail to do so, then she will kick them out and punish the children to an extreme. no sympathy for any children, if they are struggling and making the school look bad, she will just suspend them instead of provide them with help and support. she never has a smile on her face and finds tiny things to pick on students with to make her feel powerful.

"Appalling school"

Terrible school, teachers treat kids with special needs as if they are royalty, teachers cannot communicate and always look to start debates with students, And the playgrounds are just empty concrete fields with a few bins, food is overpriced.
Student councils asked the school for more benches to be added over the half-term, but instead they added TVs in hallways that aren't even turned on half the time

The teachers try to brag saying it's the best school in Essex.
The school is just a dumping ground for kids who have been excluded from other schools, moulsham takes the worst students from other schools.
And constantly the school is hiring pedos for supply teachers.

The school teachers just complain about bad behaviour, even though half the students get away with misbehaving
The mental health support is terrible, and can't keep secrets of what's happening in other students lifes
They also praise students who misbehave with hot chocolates for behaving for one week, but for students who have behaved for the entire year just get a well done and a piece of card with their name on it.
The corridors are like mosh pits and the teacher don't even seem to bother with stopping it, it's just constantly year 7s getting trampled on by year 11s and then they blame the students for the corridor behaviour even though there's no teachers supervising the school
They also closed down a short cut corridor, and then complain why your late.

Shocking and awful school, find somewhere else

"Poor communication and student welfare"

Absolutely poor communication, well actually no communication.
They care much more about talking about their grades than the welfare of their children.
Child joined 6th Form from another school wasn’t finding the transition easy so called up and was told someone would call back. Took 3 further phone calls to finally get a member of team to bother to call back.
Promised would speak to child, took a further few days, still no resolution.
Only option to leave school, best decision ever!
Called school to tell them this was happening and no one even bothered to respond to my messages or email.
Would not recommend this school at all.

"Shocking, Terrible, Awful School!"

Absolutely awful school, DO NOT recommend anyone to go here. Teachers are terrible, always making mistakes and getting things wrong. They have no support for Mental well being. Their pastoral team are shocking. Their teachers are so Boarding school vibe, they don't have a clue how to communicate to their students, and seems like they don't update their training either.

Shocking school, terrible, appalling!

"moulsahm makes me depressed "

this school is so awful if i could rate it 0 star i would. do not send your children here. they are not good with dealing with special needs children and staff are so rude to students although a few teachers are very kind. the only good thing i remember about this school is the chicken and cookies other than that it’s shit. at wet breaks your not aloud inside and must stand under the outdoor corridors, they do not care one bit about your well being and mental health they care more about the length of your skirt. don’t come here unless you want depression

"A draining school without real standards"

Moulsham high school is a school that tries to maintain this fake persona of being perfect but as soon as you see behind the curtain of what’s actually going on, you’d be horrified. No staff cares about your mental health, students get treated like there baby’s and spoken to like they’re stupid, the playgrounds aren’t even playgrounds it’s just a patch of concrete the school thought was good enough to even call a playground. I’m fed up if the way the school deals with hate and discrimination aswell, you overall just get told to ‘grow up, that’s just life’ and don’t bat an eye when someone is racist yet they instantly ban a kid who brought in a tiny 50p water gun when it was a hot day..??? And when kids get expelled from other school, they get into moulsham… it’s like a dumping ground for bad kids

"terrible, please don’t come here😰"

your not allowed to have fun on snow days. some teacher knocked a snowman someone built. they have no knowledge of what fun is. I even got told to go to my lesson early. this is because they do not want anyone to enjoy life and have fun on rare snow days. And now, because of us not being able to touch the snow, the hallway floors are wet and the snow is slushy and basically ice. i don’t know what the point of sending us in was, there’s hardly anyone in my class as it is.

"Variety of opportunities"

The school offers a range of enrichment activities, but we feel that our daughter could benefit from more guidance on how to choose the right courses for her in the Sixth Form. The teachers are generally supportive, but sometimes their workload seems to impact their ability to provide one-on-one attention. Overall, it's a good school with plenty of opportunities.

"Overrated school"

It’s a meh school.
The school puts loads of pressure on its students and it’s really degrading for their mental health. Recently, there’s been some inspections going on, and they’ve only put up posters saying how our deputy headteacher really values our mental health. That’s a load of bullcrap. The good grades come with lots of teachers shouting and pressuring us. Overall it’s not a very well put together school, would not recommend.

"don’t recommend"

the school don’t care about your mental health and they only care about your attendance and grades. and the covid restrictions are atrocious, and they say that they are following government guidelines. they don’t even wipe down the tables in the cafeteria after break even though the year 12s do their study periods in there. and the year 12 wet break area is in the corridors!!!!!

"Meh school"

Good school can be dirty sometimes teachers are strict obvs they make you eat your break outside even if its wet. Like that’s bad and got to wear mask in corridors and there’s NO SOCIAL DISTANCING going on whatsoever so I just think shut it down.
