"Beyond terrible"

I attended this school but left after year 11. beyond terrible. Bullying is not dealt with at all, people are rude and the school lacks opportunities for students to participate in. Mental health support is practically nonexistent. Some teachers are incredible and seem to care a lot for their students but most have left. Others don’t care for their students. There is a lack of clubs. Buildings run down and disgusting, especially the toilets. Worst 5 years of my life, i would not recommend it at all especially if your child has SEN/ mental health issues.

"Disgusted"

I gifted my child to this school as they played a good game on open day. But that is NOT how it was in reality. Not at all. This school stole ALL my childs self worth. Removed all of their light and left them in a very dark place. The teachers there bully students, their mediation is a joke as they AID bullies. The bullying here is of a type I had never envisaged that my once bright joyful and ougoing child would become a shell of their former self - Even many years after leaving thier entire soul is changed. I pray that no child would go through this again - But leopards do not change their spots so I cannot see how change would happen when they refuse to acknowledge what THEY do to help the bully and further victimize the victim. You stole and crushed my heart and now I am still here many yeras later trying to aid my child to pick upthe pieces and forge a life with so many scars. Whilst I also am scarred by what I witnessed. If I could change the past I would jump back in a heartbeat and try to find the joy and self-worth my child once posessed, that they now seem to be unable to find.

"I like it "

To be honest, Chatham Grammar is a great school. I’m a year 7 student and as I am nearly finished my first year, it’s been great! It’s so easy to make friends too. Some teachers are really nice but some other are rude and give you unnecessary detentions. If you don’t understand the work teachers are always there to help you which is really helpful. The school food is amazing and the chefs are nice too. The years hove can be nice but some can’t. Lots of Six formers ( which are mixed) are around the school too. Overall, it’s been a good experience to be in Chatham grammar so far so I just have to see what comes next! Cheers

"Absolute joke"

Went in crying to pastoral once and was told to smile because the sun was out. What an absolute joke. None of my class mates learnt one thing in Mr Bennett's lessons honestly. Mrs Vine top g. The toilets all have them tally charts of body part preferences and there's always wet tissue clogging up the sink. Half of the people there are secret bullies which pastoral do piss all to sort out properly. Don't send your children here. If you do, stick to Mrs Cupid and Mrs lettington they're the real ones.

"It was okay?"

Definitely a different experience as to what you would receive at a mixed school. Canteen staff are lovely, as the majority of teachers and SLT. I do believe pastoral support could be improved, people are often discouraged from going to speak as they often seem like they could be doing something better. However, it’s improved from a couple of years ago. Incredibly lucky in terms of location and the buildings, as some are original. Not an outstanding experience, nor a bad one. Teachers have favourites without a doubt, and the school find it difficult to keep staff. Other than that, good opportunities from the University and academic encouragement.

"My point of view."

My school is quite good. You have a better experience if you make long lasting friends. Their is a lot of drama. Some teachers are wonderful others I wish left the school. The food needs improvement but overall Chatham grammar is great.

"Chathamgrammarinnit"

toilets manky as, some teachers are nice but some teachers are worse than the devil, in set Q a lot of chavs and loud girls in set P not much happens (from a P1 girl), people kind but one wrong move u will get violated. they don’t have food tech, DT,media studies or health and social care/sociology. Personally I would say my school is okay but if you prefer being friends with boys or didn’t pass ur 11+ just don’t come here it’s not right for u.
