"Getting detetions for nothing and shit staff"
Well to be honest I hate this school and your child gets builled or made fun of for a little detail and the teachers are no help, first off you can get a detetion for eating in a corridor, outrageous, also when your child gets bullied the school don't do anything for a full 9 months! Also different year group toilets and they lock them during lesson time but it's ok for the staff to use there one during lesson time also the head of year never helps to be honest don't go here. Two words "fucking, shit"

"You will regret going here."
This school felt like a prison, as a student here with mental health issues I felt like I was not needed or accepted by the staff as I got little to no help with the situation I was going through. The school got councillors in as 2/3s of my year had some sort of mental health problem or disabilities but these did not help as the councillors tend to just sit there. The school itself is a nice area but it is completely open to the public and there have been multiple incidents were older men would walk onto the school grounds and watch the children, the teachers did little to stop this until multiple students were to complain about the stranger, this also happened during PE lessons. During my time here, many students would escape from the school or go to the busy road to end their lives and the school once again did nothing to combat this. As my last year ended, I was told by my teachers that my mental health wasn't real and that I was able to turn it off whenever I wanted to. During my few last years, there were many incidents with drugs, knives, sexual activity, and arson throughout the year leading to repetitive visits from fire fighters and police. During my five years here, we had a minimum of 5 teachers found out for paedophilia, mainly PE teachers as one would walk into the girls changing room while we were changing and stare at us.

"Avoid "
Linton was absolutely horrible. It’s a hotspot for bullying, racism and homophobia and much more. Linton only offers support for students who either are doing absolutely terrible or amazingly well (and this support is very weak)
However there are some absolutely amazing teachers their that do help but they often leave after 3 months.

"Excellent Education and Facilities"
I'm so grateful for the education my child has received at Linton Village College. The teachers are supportive and the facilities are fantastic. My child has loved participating in the enrichment programs and has grown so much as a person.

"Awful and don’t recommend "
Bullying and awful with helping mental health, could go to a teacher and they will blame u for ur mental health problems. They spend there money from charities on things for the staff room or to make the school look better, then when ofsted is there they act perfect and strict then when gone it goes badly again, teachers mainly in languages will bully u and laugh at u and encourage the children to join in.

"Good but Room for Improvement"
Overall, we're happy with our child's experience at LVC, but there have been some issues with communication between teachers and parents. The school's facilities are great, though, and the enrichment programs have been a highlight for our child.

"Take action "
When I first joined it was a new headteacher and for the first year it was a great school , and now it’s all gone downhill , the teaching standard is awful , I’m now doing a levels and most of the students from Linton are behind in every way , not just because of covid. Teachers a rude , don’t understand that you have a life outside lessons , and management is the worst I’ve ever seen , especially getting help for mental health issues , they treat you like toddlers even when your in year 11. At least half the year had an English tutor as the standard was so bad. Food at school isn’t bad but the prices are next level , to have a decent meal you would spend at least £5-£6 a day. Would avoid going to the school.

"Rather tragic"
-big drug problem and within school dealing, teachers recently found out for being perverted, alleged bullying however I have never personally seen it, lack of money means the school can’t afford things like scissors and glue and exercise books. Corrupted head teacher turner schools ofstead inspection from “outstanding” to “need for improvement”. Also supposedly has very homophobic and racist students. Charities day profits were put into a coffee machine for the staff room. Teachers are very inconsistent in skill (some are very experienced and good, some are inexperienced and can’t teach to save there life.) overall try to consider other alternatives before going to this school. (Engineering very fun though)

"Not the best in the area, but bearable."
Some of the teaching could be improved and they missuse the good members of staff, causing them to leave. All of the good members of staff leave to other better local state schools or private schools in Cambridge. Also, the management is often not consistent and the people at the top of the school can sometimes be incompetent with laying down rules. I would consider going to another secondary school in the area.
However, this feels mean writing this because some of the teachers are truly amazing and are truly gems, supporting children and fellow staff members and bringing together the scattered school community and leadership.

"Outstanding School with a Caring Environment"
We were so proud to have our children educated at Linton Village College. The school's values of being ambitious, inclusive and enriching really shone through in the way they supported our children's academic and personal growth.

"Decent but problems "
bullying is a problem and there isn’t much academic help for students who aren’t struggling but aren’t doing the greatest. most teachers brush off students issues and it feels like there isn’t much of a community

"Fair!"
It isn’t the greatest school but to be fair it isn’t the worst either. Bullying yes this is dealt with. Support for students struggling isn’t the best. Unfortunately since becoming an academy the word community seems to be forgotten
