"Ex students opinions "

I went to this school from Year 7 to year 11, loved coming to this school until year 8-9 the head teacher I had when I first started left, he was the reason I went to this school as he sold the school to my mum straight away. The New Head was nice but he just didn’t really want to care about my issues if I was struggling with my mental health. He would call my Mum a completely different last name from what it actually is. I hated my time here as all the good teachers / TA’s left by the time I got to year 11.

Your only get far in this school if you have a severe special need or other issues.
( just my opinion I know I’m not the only ex student or parent who thinks that)

The Head at the moment who runs the school ridiculed me quite a few times and called me a “drama queen” when I was struggling with my depression and anxiety when I self harmed. His exact words were on the phone to my mum were:
“we all have our drama queen moments”

Apart from the deputy head she was fantastic at her job and was always very supportive for my issues or whatever I needed her.

I wouldn’t recommend this school to anybody who struggles with any mental health problems.
