St Bartholomew's CE Primary School is a small school with a big heart where we aim to nurture our pupils while preparing them for their journey after primary school. We are a Church of England School, and we are always looking for ways to thread our Christian Distinctiveness throughout our curriculum.

"A loving and nurturing community"
We've been so impressed with the school's values of kindness, courage and respect. Our child has thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment. We love the forest school sessions and the weekly phonics lessons. Highly recommended!

"A school with a heart of gold"
The school's uniform policy encourages our child to take pride in their appearance. We're grateful for the regular updates on their progress through the reading diaries and homework folders. The teachers are always available to discuss any concerns we may have. Excellent school!

"Some areas for improvement"
While we've been generally pleased with the school, we feel that the homework could be more challenging at times. However, the school's values and curriculum are well-rounded and engaging. Our child enjoys the weekly spelling quizzes and the forest school sessions.

"Excellent education with a strong moral compass"
We have wonderful memories of our time at St Bartholomew's. The teachers were always willing to listen and offer support. Our child's reading skills improved dramatically due to the daily phonics lessons. We appreciate the school's emphasis on empathy and compassion.
