Site Manager is free to LIE and intimidate parents and children. And when you raise a complaint,
The headteacher will NOT conduct a real investigation, but fob you off and state its inconclusive (despite the site manager admitting 9 months later he was aggressive in a poor apology).

Safe guarding officer and Vice School governor makes false allegations in formal meetings (which were audio recorded) and the Chair of governors doesn't acknowledge it

Vice chair also said the site manager would be going on an anger management course but will be added to his file as "Extra training" rather than a result of a complaint process and said this is the local authorities choice and so the staff member "doesn't have his life ruined".
Despite the site manager squaring up to parents, shouting and intimidating there children.
Complaints being taken further to Department of Education and to local MP.

School has gone rapidly downhill in the last 10 years. Pulled my child out immediately after the false claims. (Many other parents have been removing there children from this school)

My child is so much happier in another local school with no fear of being glared at and approached by a site manager with anger issues.
I suggest if you have children in Highwood you ask for a Subject Access request to see what is (or not) being documented formally.

Also unless you say "I want to make a formal complaint over a member of staff and in writing " it doesn't get documented anywhere so the staff member has nothing on there file showing there previous complaints!
Avoid avoid avoid.

Not the best school for your child! Only few remaining teachers are actually skilled and if your child has any SEN needs then good luck to you. The Headteacher isn’t very helpful and would disregard your concerns.

The school has deteriorated in the past couple of years. This school is definitely not as good as it used to be. All the good teachers/TAs have left in the last couple of years and it's definitely gone down hill since then.

I've been blown away by the care and dedication shown by the teachers and staff at Highwood. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the Thrive program has been a game-changer for our child's emotional wellbeing.

We've had a bit of a mixed experience at Highwood. On the one hand, the teachers are generally lovely, and the school's facilities are great. However, we've found the communication with the school to be a bit patchy at times, and we've had to chase up a few issues with our child's learning.

We left Highwood a few years ago, but the values of respect, kindness, and ambition that the school instilled in our child have had a lasting impact. The school's commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing is clear, and we feel confident that our child was well-prepared for secondary school.
