We pride ourselves on our passion and enthusiasm from all of our adults in school towards caring, supporting, nurturing and educating our children. We all love to see our children succeed but here at Rykneld, we like to enrich our children through the exciting curriculum that we offer, both in and outside of the classroom.

"Some areas for improvement"

We've had a mixed experience at Rykneld Primary School. On the positive side, our child has made some great friends and enjoys the Outdoor Classroom. However, we've had some issues with communication from the school and feel that the curriculum could be more engaging for older children. Overall, we're staying at the school but feel that there's room for improvement.

"Great School Community"

We've been really happy with the progress our child has made at Rykneld Primary School. The staff are all very supportive and the school's values of caring, supporting, and nurturing children really shine through. We love the opportunities for children to get involved in decision-making and the Forest Schools program is a highlight for our child.

"Amazing School Experience"

I'm so impressed with the facilities at Rykneld Primary School, especially the new Early Years setting and the bespoke Outdoor Classroom. Our child has thrived in the Forest Schools program and loves coming to school every day. The staff are friendly and caring, and we feel very welcome at the school.

"Excellent Education"

I was a parent at Rykneld Primary School from 2018 to 2020 and was really impressed with the education my child received. The school's commitment to inclusivity and supporting children's personal development is outstanding. The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars is the occasional wait for the school office to answer the phone.
