"Amazing!"

It helped me a lot, the teachers always support students and the punishments are now more fair. teachers shouldn't give detention after school for untucked shirt though! maybe a warning. Teachers are brilliant and the school dinners, you will guarantee to like something there. lots of support for lots of different disabilities.

"one of the worst schools in the UK"

extremely poor and unsafe school.

staff care more about the top button of your shirt than if you're being bullied and harassed daily. reports of bullying are mostly, no teachers will even bother to notice when it happens in their own classrooms.

children smoking and drinking in the toilets and around the school is also ignored.

one of the PE teachers here is a known creep and makes inappropriate comments about the underage girls in his classes. this is also ignored. in my time at this school, many girls brought up these concerns to senior staff and were shamed for wearing shorts and sports leggings in their SPORTS lesson. if girls receive inappropriate attention from boys or male staff (such as the PE teacher in question) they are blamed for it and told to dress differently if they don't like the attention. no wonder this school is unable to teach its male students how to act appropriately around women. there were reports of grooming within the school and these were again ignored. I was forced to remain in classes with my rapist and abuser despite there being many options for a class switch.

if you go to this school and are a captain or high performing sports student, you get a free pass when it comes to uniform errors or directly assaulting and harassing others.

if you as a parent are considering sending your child to this school, change your mind. do not directly expose your child to the inevitable abuse and complete lack of support as pastoral support is pretty much non existent here. if they have a chronic illness or serious allergy, expect this to be ignored. no measures are taken to avoid cross contamination or provide food options that lack at least some allergens.

i barely learnt a thing here. no one bothered. half the teachers just put a book in front of you and ask you to take notes. kids do not learn a thing like that. there is genuinely no reason to go anywhere near this abysmal school. I could not recommend this school less, and i truly pity the current and future pupils of this awful school.

"Bad review"

Worst school, I was bullied and eventually had to leave the school because of how badly the staff hadled it and because of the terrible effect it had on my mental health. The staff are very judgemental and rude. Your treated differently because of your background. Wasn't a safe place at all!

"BHS Review"

Alright school and good teachers. Puts down 2 stars because of how bullying is dealt with. No teacher on the field notices and then makes the student have to flag it themselves whilst teached stand in the middle fo the field chatting not even doing their job properly.

"Pretty good, average overall"

Pretty good, mental health is dealt with terribly after the one good teacher with mental health left. There is also too much homophobia and racism that flies under the radar because teacher ignore it or they don’t listen when someone reports it
