"Dont bother viewing the school!"
The school is the worst I've ever been to, teachers don't pay attention all they do is scream at you for no reason. I got a detention for taking my asthma pump which is medically needed and the teacher didn't listen to me saying how I can't breathe. Overall I would never send my child here and I am ashamed of what the school has become. Also matter of fact a child sadly passed in the school which changed many opinions of staying in the school. I haven't learned a single thing in this school and have failed all of my exams. Oh and to top it off many knife crimes and threats have happened here. Oh and there's now yondr pouches which means if u get jumped your not allowed to call a parent till your phone gets unlocked.

"Only go here if you don't care about education that much"
My mum had went there so I'd always wanted to go to Cooper's but not much has changed in 15 years. First off medical place is TERRIBLE in yr7 I had a treadmill accident and both my knees got pretty badly friction burnt and when I went to medical they put PLASTERS on both my knees and sent me back to lessons. I was limping the whole day. Long story short I had to go to hospital to get the plasters safely removed and took a week off recovering. But now I'm not even sure they have a medical anymore, I'm pretty sure it's just a first aid box in the main office part idk. The building has collapsed a lot apparently, I took some time off for mental health reasons so I never personally experienced this but it's still worth mentioning. The lessons are decent enough but recently a lot of staff have been leaving. Also the school is low-key broke, like maybe if they stopped changing the uniform every 4 years they wouldn't be but what do I know. Anyway it's pretty chill, but then again the only reason I came back to Cooper's after my mental health break was because of my friends and the fact they don't teach religious education (RE) so...
Also, stop telling me to "put my blazer on" in 300 degree wether!! You're literally wearing spaghetti straps!!

"wtf were the lunch cooks thinking"
i mean dont get me wrong the school is okay but the teachers are well rude and the food is garbage you mostly only get half dry pasta with cheese and the pizza is so oily but the school is big and the looks of the school are really taken care of. so i reccomend you go to this school only if its your last option.

Terrible bullying at this school! If you have any sense avoid. Teachers leave every term. Some of them are great but have no control over feral kids. No communication after meetings.We regret the day we started our child here.

"Poor food behaviour and communication "
it's horrendous there's kids wandering about whenever they want your not aloud in the SEN room even if you have a disability/condition they waste lesson time by forcing students to stand in a line in the mugga then complain when they don't have enough time to get through all the lesson slides. The canteen food is soggy/porely cooked the bacon looks raw and the sausages taste like dish soap
overall do not send your child here

"Horrible"
Horrible school. They barely care about the mental health of students instead they might just be sent outside for a few minutes however some teachers wouldnt let them.
Some teachers are alright like a teacher that ik has left the school just becuase of EC21(the academic group that the school is in) as they have made to many changes.
I have also heard from certain teachers that they might not even change anything.
Before i joined the school i had excellent grades and was told that i was one of my teachers favourite students. However i have never ever been complimented on my personality or how kind i was. Only the work that i put on the table.
Over my time in school i have seen so many students being bullied and teachers do nothing about this. Ive seen countless fights that the teachers know nothing about.
Overall this school is filled with rabid untaught kids and most of the teachers are just waiting for there next pay check however the most prominent issue is the miscommunication between teachers themselves and even students.

absolutely rubbish they care about earrings when how are they affecting your learning? I understand hoops but any kind of studs you must be having a laugh and then they expect you to go and buy gold or silver earrings??? what do they think we are made of money?? moving on canteen, absolute pot hole, prices are too high, and if you don’t have any money on your card they will shout it as loud as possible ti make it clear “YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY” what do they want me to starve???? Hungry children can’t learn, therefore we get aggy therefore we get ‘rude’ and then get into trouble because we are being disrespectful? Teachers are nonces always looking at your skirt to make sure it’s rolled down, understandable to have your skirt not rolled but when it’s like one bit above your knee it’s a massive problem and the boys will be distracted? They care more on how you look than more at what your doing well in your workbook or in your assessment? Never EVER had a compliment from that school it’s always been bad. I hate it.

"Pupils unsafe at school."
In 1 week 2 pupils from year 10 and 8 pulled out a knife.
The year 10 pulled it out in the canteen and the year 8 pulled it out outside the school but it was near the school. It was like a few yards away from the school.
The one in the canteen people were saying that they saw and it was horrific.

"It’s ok."
It’s a poor choice. The teachers are probably the best part of the school as the majority of them care about your well-being and your future but the lack of support from the higher ups in the school really brings it down. Bullying has been witnessed by some staff yet not reported and when reported little to no action has been taken against that student, until a student makes an adjustment to their uniform will they be punished properly (proving the school cares more about uniform then the safe environment for the kids). The canteen food is ok and the facilities is around the same as other schools. I’m more happy that I’m leaving this school then sad as it was depressing for my final years. Only **% pass their English GCSE and that number is even lower for maths. Considering the bad state of other local schools I can see why I was sent to Coopers but if possible look at schools that might be a long distance away as the travel to school may be worth it if the other school benefits you.

"Coopers is bad "
It’s a very bad school. Teachers care more about uniform than actually teaching and they still expect us to get good grades? They don’t do anything about bullying, and for some reason wearing ear rings affect your learning? The food in the canteen is actually mouldy, you can see it in the cheese! (Bring your own food 🤮) the toilets smell like 💩 and they do nothing about it. If you are ill they will only send you home if you are literally dying on the floor. Moral of the story- don’t go to coopers. Used to go there and will definitely not be sending my children there.
