"Dorothy stringer PE"

It has good education but one time when I was in PE we were outside and I forgot my coat at home. But it was hailing and we couldn't go inside so I got a cold from it so I ended up going home after. But what I was mostly annoyed about was the teacher said if I didn't run around and play I would get a detention for lack of engagement.

"Terrible School"

The majority of teachers at Dorothy Stringer don't care about students mental wellbeing. There is to much homework. Despite the fact I have never etended varndean I am convinced it is a much safer place to send your children. Some of these teachers have taken my will to live. Now I want to die. I do not recommend

"Stringer is a really bad school don't go here"

This school is so bad, all of the teachers don't care if you're struggling, they rarely ever let you go to the toilets even if you're desperate they just say "you should've gone at break or lunch" and if you're ill or injured in this school and you get sent to medical, they will just make you wait in a waiting room for 30 minutes and just tell you to drink water then send you back to lesson like nothings wrong, the medical team also has no experience they say that their medical team has experience but in reality even some 12 year old knows better than them (they only a couple weeks of training), the school doesn't care about your mental health, if you're in this school you feel like your in a prison there's big fences everywhere, teachers in this school are really bad at their job, they will accuse you of stuff you didn't even do, the canteen lines are always packed with so much people you will get pushed and squashed all the time, and there's always aggressive fights so much and the teachers don't do much about it they would just give a detention to the people who fought and won't do anything else about it, this school might tell you that stringers a good school but in reality it's one of the worst schools ever.

"Damaging Environment for young minds. "

Terrible. Damaging environment for young minds.
No understanding of SEN. Teachers allow bullying in classroom. Mock students in front of their peers.
As with all schools, the focus and objective is to please Ofsted (who may or may not decide to turn up for a few days in the near future) rather than caring about the students and parents who are there day to day.- Of course what some stranger from across the country thinks after a 2 day visit is more valuable than the opinion of the students and parents.
Do not send your child if they have SEN.

"The Honest Truth"

Thank god I’m leaving the school this year. Since the old headteacher left and a new one replaced him, he’s turned it into a horrible environment.
Teachers, especially males, are more focused on girls’ uniforms than their education, which is the primary reason why we come to school in the first place.
The headteacher has unrealistic, extreme expectations for the students, often using teachers to target us instead of outrightly doing it himself.
Prices for trips and prom are astronomical.
The best staff have been unreasonably fired.
Teachers have no idea on how to fairly handle bullying or sympathise with students.
Don’t go here if you want a pleasant learning experience. You’ll be disappointed.

"do not reccomend "

worst school ever hated it so much teachers dont help with anything and dont care if you are struggling. students are all horrible and the teachers are even worse. one of the teachers had a youtube video of why being gay is wrong, the teachers dont care about mental health just care about skirts and jewellery. pathetic excuse for a school and has gotten even worse since the new headmaster started working there.

"Terrible "

Honestly hated my time here. There's no diversity at all. I'd say 90% of the kids are white middle class c#nts. This school is INFESTED with bullies and 'popular' friendship groups. Don't even get me started on the wannabe road men. Students set fire to bins on the field and smoke weed in the bushes.
The science department is a MESS. Teachers are always off sick or they just disappear for half the year so u end up with a supply teacher that can't teach. Also, teachers care way too much about uniform. I got sent out of lessons because I wore trousers instead of a skirt...

Go to ******** instead.

"Dorothy stringer "

It’s good on the whole I do have to say it’s great at handling certain things and like I said on the whole pretty good and plenty of clubs and opportunities for the future. And does it’s best to help you in the best way possible. There are a few things they could improve on tho like every secondary school really tho.

"Don't go to this school "

This school is really really bad. I hate this school, 0/10 I cannot concertrate in this school. This school has obliterated my mental health, it has made get diagnosed with crippling anxiety. I cry everyday because of this school. This school is the reason I want to die, it has made me give up on humanity, it made me stop believing in God. It's the worst school, I don't recommend joining unless you like living through hell. The staff are really mean and they bully you and hurt your feelings a lot by shouting at you. The state of the school is always a mess, there's always tampons in the girls bathroom left everywhere. This school is appalling, please don't go to this school, it should be banned from being a school.
