"This is an absolute appalling school."

Dealt with a number of schools this one is the worse wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy the violence is bad the bullying swearing , the disgusting comments and attitude off many of the staff , they parent blame if challenged they certainly don't like parents going on social media, if you have a disabled child or who is undiagnosed stay clear .. violent school & police and social services know it so does estyn who protect this school- many families choosing to take its out of the school- most good reviews comments are from teachers And other professionals who are friends of friends- keep clear i would left a zero , but it's not possible to do so and
As for the 3 stard for the outdoor environment it's the only way the kids can get away from the smell of cannabis.

"Don’t go here , it’s awful"

I do not recommend this school . They have bullied my child relentlessly. The teacher Edward Rhys , not promoted to Deputy head bullied my child asking him if he wanted the name of a slimming medication his wife has stocks and shares in .and laughed at him . They then hid the email sent to me for the school inspection and stopped delivery of it untill the day after the inspection so I couldn’t make them aware . My son is not even overweight but this “ teacher” who is not fit to be around children and sadly will one day probably become head of the school got promoted for his vile behaviour.
They then allowed identity theft and fraud to go on during school hours , in class! students took my sons email account and set up a fraudulent go fund me account , stole someone’s bank details and tried to crowd fund money fraulently on the go fund me site .
They then allowed students to mock and abuse my son in class over the death of his grandfather who took his own life . When my son tried to seek help from the teacher of the class it was happening in , they told him to sit down and shut up .
The school was telephoned by myself, his mother , where the receptionist tried to victim shame my son and ask how the students knew rather than correcting the bad behaviour by students they tallow it to continue and shame the poor students already coping with the abuse and stress .
They offer no compassion, understanding or intersect . The staff behave like the spoilt , narcissistic children. Their parents clearly failed raising them into mature, decent adults and now , they are teaching the next generation of young adults , torturing the good students and treating the bad ones for their behaviour.
I made the wrong choice in allowing my son to join this school . I should have made a better choice , unfortunately they act decent at 1st , hiding their true natures untill a month or two after your child has been there .
They also allowed a group of girls to enter the school assaulting the students there . I can however understand how this has happened due to the very poor level of humanity 90% of the students possess.
Take your kids to another school where the staff are mentally stable and the kids are raised by decent parents. Save you child the misery of going to this school . It may be the largest comp around wales , but it is also the worst

"Utterly rubbish school"

So with this school, if your child refuses to go, their answer is reduce the child’s timetable…cos that’s exactly what happens in work when you’ve had enough…they reduce your hours…what the hell are we teaching our kids ?

"Read if your/kid is starting"

Havent been here long but it's easy to make friends if you/your kid is LGBTQ. The teachers are only now starting to deal with bullying.
Not all teachers are nice but most will support you/your child no matter what.

"Sports, sports and more sports"

All they really care about is sports and its really unlikely to get a good teacher.
