Bosvena School

Bosvena School is a new specialist provision located in Bodmin, Cornwall, specifically designed for learners aged 5 to 16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs that cannot be met in mainstream education settings. The school opened in September 2025 and is operated by the Special Partnership Trust in collaboration with Cornwall Council and the Department for Education. Bosvena School offers a flexible, therapeutic environment with a tailored curriculum aimed at overcoming barriers to learning, supporting improved academic, social, and emotional outcomes for its students. The school is situated on Turfdown Road, Glynn, and is designed to make use of its proximity to local businesses, sports venues, and educational partners to enrich the student experience. The ambition is to transform life opportunities for young people with SEMH difficulties, potentially enabling some to reintegrate into mainstream education.
