"Excellent education and supportive staff!"

My child has thrived at Parkfield Community School since joining in year 7. The teachers are engaging and the staff are always available to answer questions or provide help with any concerns. The school's focus on community and values aligns perfectly with our own family values.

"A great school with a strong sense of community"

We were initially worried about the school's size, but it's actually been a major advantage - my child has made some wonderful friends and the teachers really know them as individuals. The school's extra-curricular activities and sports teams have also been a great bonus.

"never send your child here."

as a student that went to this “school” I must say it was appalling. The relentless bullying I received was disgusting and not only me but the racism and homophobia towards not only me but others aswell was just sickening. After not wanting to go and mental health had reached a limit of breaking point the school were in no position to do anything about it. The school is completely ran by supply teachers with teachers walking out on the scene students were not learning anything. After being lured to a hidden part of the playground where I was jumped I was pulled out of the school after 1 month becuase the school is just a disgrace to education system. Please do not send your child here.

"Please don't send your kid here"

We don't learn anything there are always substitut teachers I may admit students can sometimes be rude towards staff olny because they can be horrible. They don't care about mental health or bullying. I am not a person of colour but am lgbtq and the racism and homaphobia is horrible and staff don't do much to stop it. The only teatchers I liked were office people and mabey 1 teatcher. Lunch is not great but is kinda just like any other school. People in this school are so mean I get maid fun of for how I look several times a day. I don't have many true friends since they are hard to find at this school but I have made some friends. The rules don't make any sence and the school is dirty please don't come here no matter how desperate you are to find a school this is not the one

"Awful school "

My time in parkfield was awful. Bullying was very bad in all years, especially for the older years. The school site was very noisy and dirty. Teachers were either very bad at their jobs (not being able to control out of order students) or very rude and disrespectful. I have dyscalculia and the maths teacher did nothing to help me, in exams I had to go into the main hall with all the other students and my anxiety is very bad so I hate those environments. It seems like they only care for those with diagnoses and they are still rude to those. Some of the boys in my year harassed every girl in our year and others and nothing got done about it. I was scared to go to lessons and some days didn’t even go to school. Not to mention the terrible mental health support. Not only me but my little brother struggled a lot and they did nothing to the point were we almost got fined and he moved school. I was head student and we had nothing in our role, we had to go through a stressful period of interviews for nothing, all we did were tours once every 2 months. By far the worst school in all of Dorset I would not recommend your child there unless you want them to be bullied by students and teachers.

"My time in parkfield"

This school has got to be the worst in the whole of Dorset , the building is dirty and disgusting there is glass panels in doors which were never fixed , toilets are the worst with no toilet doors, seats , toilet paper this made my experience really bad as there was no privacy when needing to go to the toilet i would avoid. Bullying in this school is unacceptable and harassment from boys , the school did nothing to help with bullying the whole 4 years i was there . The teachers emotionally abuse and manipulate students and for 1 year they didn't have enough teachers so majority of lessons we didn’t do anything to learn . The mental health support was awful i was turned away on multiple occasions were i needed help as they were to busy drinking tea . I would avoid sending your children here by all costs .

"Parkfield During Covid-19 "

It's ok. Could do better Covid-19 restrictions. Pupils are distressed. Yr11s are very stressed about GCSEs. Great teachers especially English, Maths, Science and Technology.

Good school but could do more to improve and help Yr11s.
