"Best school I’ve worked at"

Of all the schools I’ve worked in, this is the one that cares about young people the most. I have over 20 years experience and have never worked with a team so dedicated to the students in their care. The senior team know the children and take time with staff to listen when to our concerns. There is a good balance of boundaries and being flexible for young people. I’ll be here until I retire. Great school.

"Brilliant support!"

Finally, a school that is meeting my child's needs! Having refused to go to his previous school and then finally being kicked out (I suppose so they don't affect the results) I made the decision to get them into Lindsworth, best decision! I won't say it is completely plain sailing and we still have struggles getting them out of bed in the morning but once in school, they are getting the support they severely needed. They've come home and said they finally have teachers "who get me" and support given by other staff has been great. Contact with the school has been good and issues dealt with effectively, I can't fault them.

"Great staff"

The staff are what makes this school AMAZING. I’ve never felt before that school care about my son. He’s been kicked out of 3! These staff care about each individual and really want what’s best for them.
They tell you the hard things you don’t want to hear but they do it nicely.
If I had to choose again, I’d pick Lindsworth every time.

"Second chances"

Lindsworth gives kids a second chance when other schools have given up. That staff care and want the best for them. It’s a great place.

"Inclusive"

My experience of Lindsworth School has been extremely positive. My son, who had been permanently excluded from a previous primary school, has settled in well and is now excited to go to school every day. He constantly talks about his new friends and all of the different activities he does both inside and outside of the classroom. All staff are welcoming and friendly and I have only positive comments to say about the school. Thank you for giving him a second chance.

"No regrets"

No regrets

The school makes times to get to know the pupils and to give them the opportunities others won’t. I’m happy I sent my child to Lindsworth and have no regrets

"Right decision"

Right decision

I was reluctant to send my child to Lindsworth as I’ve heard mixed messages but I’m so glad I made the jump. We still have our days but on a whole my child is in school every day , learning and happy and that’s all I could ask for.

"Made it!"

We did not think my child would get any qualifications or complete school let alone attend a year 11 leaver assembly, end of year celebration meal and be proud of the results he gained! Thank you Lindsworth for the support given! And now he’s off to college!

"Thank you Lindsworth"

My child had not attended school until year 1 when Lindsworth gave them a chance in year 4. It’s amazing to be able to see my child with friends, join and football team and be completing work alongside other children of his age. Thank you Lindsworth school!

"Happy child = happy mom"

Happy child happy mom

I have been very happy and impressed with this school. I have had to seek support a number of times and have been overwhelmed by the care of the staff. 2 years ago my child had never attended a school trip and last year he went to France with the school at Lindsworth.
If your child needs the support of smaller classes and a more flexible approach I would recommend Lindsworth

"Fresh start"

We had had a really negative experience of schools and education prior to my son starting at Lindsworth, I had had to give up my job due to being called to school every day. Since starting Lindsworth my child is thriving again, made friends and attending school every day. I have been so pleased with staff and support from the school and staff.

"Worst school in Birmingham"

This is a terrible school. Children have no respect for one another, the teachers have no control over the children. They so not control bullying and children can walk in and out as they please.

"Please dont send your children here if you care about them at all. "

This is a terrible school. They do NOT handle bullying well especially when LGBTQ+ students are bullied. Very few staff members support LGBTQ+ students and many others look the other way when students are bullied. Also students don’t get proper help with their mental health when they have thoughts of suicide or self harm. There are some staff members who are actually great people and do try their best to help as many students as they can as much as they can but they have so much to do they often get too busy. Lastly the headteacher in this school is a terrible person and she’s terrible at her job. She simply does not care at all about her students and does not help them at all.
