About Hamstead Hall Academy

We are a dynamic Academy located in Handsworth Wood which caters for 1100 students. Our mission statement “Success for all through hard work and harmony” is all about achievement, inclusion and a positive attitude to work and each other.

"Some Good, Some Room for Improvement"

We've had our son at Hamstead Hall for 6 months now and while the staff are friendly and the facilities are nice, we've had some issues with communication and punctuality. The academy's values and programs are great, but we feel like they could be more consistent in their approach. We're hoping things will improve as they settle in.

"Exceptional Academy Experience"

We've had our daughter at Hamstead Hall for 2 years now and the progress she's made is incredible. The staff are so supportive and the facilities are fantastic, especially the new sports hall. We're really proud of the values the academy promotes and our daughter feels safe and happy.

"Great Transition to Sixth Form"

My son completed his A-levels at Hamstead Hall a few years ago and it was a really positive experience. The teachers were knowledgeable and the resources were excellent. I was impressed by the sixth form facilities and the opportunities they offered. My son went on to secure a great university place.
