"Neglect, Abuse, and Permanent Damage"

If your child has mental health problems, anxiety, or autism, do NOT send them here, or to the neighbouring school.
Staff are utterly disrespectful to anyone that doesn't fit their idea of a "safeguarding risk" or "SEN student".
You have no diagnosis yet? You are just a bad student and you will get hundreds of detentions for truancy or deviancy and treated like absolute dirt and a pathetic deadweight while the teachers kids get to gallivant around doing whatever they want and getting special treatment.
You dont have a broken home? You getting upset is just a ploy for attention and to get out of lessons.

I attended here when the schools were just merging and I developed dissociative amnesia from the abuse I faced at the hands of the teachers. I was told I was faking, lying for attention, and pathetic by even the headteacher of the technology studio who also leaked some of the private conversations I had with the pastoral staff. Food and water was withheld from me because it inconvenienced them that I couldn't get up to do it myself and I ended up extremely underweight. It hurt, I couldn't properly speak and couldn't remember what was happening 5 minutes ago and it took a year to attempt some kind of rehabilitation just because ADULTS had it out for a child they didn't even know and never took a second to understand me or why I was the way I was. I was home-schooled after this as it ruined my ability to go near schools again, and I will never be able to get further education.

DO. NOT. BOTHER.
When your child is traumatised from the teachers themself, instead of the students, there is not a single excuse for that.

They will never truly care about you, your child, or your childs wellbeing, no matter how much they struggle. Find ANY other place, they will thank you!

"Nope.🙅"

I was constantly bullied and harassed along with other students. I’d say out of 3, 2/3 teachers do literally nothing about the nasty behaviour of their students (I only knew like 3 teachers out of all the staff that were decent and actually cared). They like to brush it under the carpet and barely punish the bullies, especially when it came to trans kids(from my pov anyway, I don’t know about others). 1/10 would not recommend.

"It’s a bad school"

There’s no care for students one of the pastoral teachers told my struggling friend she should not seek external help for her mental health issues because ‘proper therapy is only for people who are actually depressed’. The rules are ever changing and getting stricter to try and ‘prepare students for the work environment’ for example limiting students to 1 stud in either ear while allowing teachers as many piercings as they please contradicting the idea that limiting the amount of ear piercings is in preparation for the work environment. The lines for food in the canteen can get so long it takes your entire lunchtime to get a small portion of overpriced food just to not have any time to eat it. The headmaster does not care for his pupils or his school. Students getting exited over toilets being re-done and being able to flush and lock. In my opinion that really says a lot about the school.

"horrible school doesn’t care "

the school does absolutely nothing to help struggling students. my family is on benefits so i have pupil premium. they get like £300 a year or so from the government to help support me in my needs for school (such as uniforms, books etc) yet when my mom told them that she couldn’t afford a new blazer they refused any help whatsoever ever even though they have that money to help me. this school takes money from students like myself and don’t even use it for the school. half the computers don’t work in the graphics course room, all the blinds in classes are broken and they refuse to get new ones, most of the chairs are broken and un useable and so are the tables. this school shouldn’t be open whatsoever untill it learns to actually care for and help the students. not to mention most of the food that was served to us when i was in year 7 was past the expiration date so i have stopped getting anything from there for the past 3-4 years due to it being absolutely inedible.

"THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE CLOSED "

Where do I start? Um let’s start with the bullying wow there’s a lot to say about this when you or someone else gets bullied and you tell the school they say not to take it to heart and stuff and then say to you that they will talk to them but 1 that makes it worst and 2 they don’t even do that, they simply don’t know how to handle it I was bullied since was there and I’m not in year 11 and it only kinda stopped in yr 10 but my bullying was cyber and verbal and a little physical to but the school never did anything about it and they always thought I was lying. When I came to them crying bc I was physically bullied they told me to stop the fake tears and stop beating myself up I kicked off and left the room I never told anyone about this because I was worried and thought that nobody would believe me and now I suffer from anxiety and depression because of them and they don’t support this and think I’m lying about it to even tho I have proof. I hate the fact that they don’t know how to support a child and they are simply a waste of my time if they aren’t gonna support me then I won’t support them and be a good student it works 2 ways, can I add that most of the teachers there don’t know how to control a class so we don’t learn anything and they say it’s all are fault and we are failures when they are failures because they don’t know how to teach properly can I also add that the health and safety there is non existent you can easily trip over and crack your head because the tiled pavement is all cracked and wobbly, the tables are broken so there a sharp edges that have made me bleed from simply walking past and hitting into it, the classrooms are in bad condition and you can never see the board because they won’t buy new blinds because they are either ripped or jammed and there are books everywhere and it doesn’t get cleaned because there are cobwebs and stuff on the floor that are easy to hover and there are pen still on the table and when you clean the table yourself the blue towel is literally black, they toilets are really bad they stink and they are dirty and have marker all over the walls and doors, they should close the school they are really bad and they should fix the pavement, clean the school, find better teachers and get blinds, I honestly can’t wait to leave because I cannot stand it there but I would like to say the only good thing there is that I have met some amazing friends and there is atleast 1 good teacher which is Cheryl west she is honestly amazing and has helped me through most of my problems and makes me feel safe at school all tho her teas and coffee making skills aren’t very good 😂 anyway there is so much more that could be said but you will be here all day and night so I will go byeeee. xx

"Rubbish and horrible school "

This school is one of the worst, they don’t know how to help students when stuck on work, they don’t care about you, they take EVERYTHING out on people. They are honestly blind because they tell people off even tho they didn’t do it. They say they are good with handling bullying but they just basically in such words told me and many student to just ignore them and grow up and said the would ‘talk to them’ they didn’t even do that they are lazy. And you have to be careful because you can easily tripped and hurt yourself because there tiles on the pavement are wobbly and all miss matched

"horrible school "

the school doesn’t care about its students. if you go to them for help about anything they won’t care. if you ask them to keep something from your parents they wouldn’t care about your request. not only do the teachers suck but the students do too. there is so much bullying physical and mental but the school don’t do anything to help that.

"No support for mental health"

The pastoral manager makes a mockery out of the children that desperately need their help and most of the teachers are unhelpful and end up caring more about shoving content down students threats and ensuring good grades at snt cost rather then the mental wellbeing of the children
