Just shit to be honest

I still go here and I wouldn’t if I could but apparently other schools are worse,I’ve been assaulted on the bus home by another student, and the school said that they have all they need to help me file a report to the police,we even have an officer at our school,here I am months later with no justice,they didn’t even ban the student off the school bus,I’m not very good at maths but I’ve managed to stay in the highest set,the teacher literally calling us failures and talking about how younger students do better, one time I was running on around the break area (outside) with my friends having a race,just for a BFL teacher to put her arm out right in front of me for no reason,I told her not to do that because I didn’t give her permission to touch me and she started shouting at me telling me not to dig myself a hole,I’ve been bullied not only by some students but some staff too! The school doesn’t care about the students it only want to look good.it’s not a good school at all.also not sure what happened but in 2008 the principle got fired??no one knows why.some of the girls have had genuine worry about a PE teacher looking at them (you know what I mean) whilst they do PE.some teachers are racist in year 7 the form tutor I had would not put a single white British person on the board,put me on multiple times since I’m not British,but one time some mixed girls were working on some work and he put them on the board whilst a table of primarily white girls were talking about love island louder than the teacher himself didn’t get a c1 even,he said they were good students and we should follow their example so a few times I would talk ridiculously loud and when he would ask me I would just say I was following their example, they fired my design tech teacher because of a kid who didn’t follow the rules which wasn’t our teachers fault,the same student had groped multiple of my female friends which led me to have to threaten him myself in which he stopped,this school isn’t a good school at all,and my re teacher patronises everyone,it’s not nice,I’m not even finished here yet and I’ve seen more teachers leave than pupils enrolled in the school but seriously there’s no respect here at all, parents I would consider this school a last resort, it may look nice or have great grade but I think you should heavily consider sending your child’s elsewhere,being one of the older students I try my best to guide the younger ones in the right direction because god knows the teachers can’t be trusted but as a year 7 I experienced a lot of bullying I got beat up multiple times by year 9s at the time for being one of a larger stature,I know this is a very long review but it’s needed for parents to know how this really is,for a long time it felt more to me like a prison not a school it’s not safe.it should’ve been closed,I’m not the highest acedemic or the sportiest person (definitely not) but they only care about the highest achieving students,I could say much more about this school but this review would last a long time,DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE,

Do not care about mentally ill, neuro-divergent or generally disabled pupils. Terribly funded in the science department and very understaffed. From the staff I heard they arent treated the best with one teacher complaining of having to reinterview for her job. The teachers that do care about the students tend to be beat down and lose hope after a while. Not to mention the teachers' hatred towards eachother is very obvious. Thats with me not delving into the countless times theres been a member of staff acting inappropriate, being outright creapy with it being swept under the rug since I started. The grades are OK and performance wise its probably the better for the area from what I've heard. So if you or your child is going to be able to cope with no disability, safeguarding, bullying or mental health help for 5 years it might be worth it but I dunno might make you worse.
