"Good education, bad teachers"

I learnt quite a lot at this school and I'm grateful for it but some of the teachers here are not exactly ideal for the job if I'm being completely honest.
I can't really remember many of my teachers before year 3, but I do remember my year 1 teacher javing a go at me for using more than 2 pieces of paper. My year 3 teacher was lovely and probably one of the kindest teachers in the school and my year 4 teacher was decent but she did have her favourites. But my year 5/6 teacher had some problems (no offence to her), she was an amazing teacher and definitely helped me but her expectations were incredibly high. She expected my whole class to be able to do year 10 maths in year 5 and 6 and then when people struggled she spilt our class into 2 groups, labelled the ones who didnt struggle as smart and those who did struggle as dumb and lazy and made the poor assistant teacher look after them on her own. Along with thid she definitely picked her favourites which is quite commen but she treated them 10x better than the others. Along with this she was also a drama queen to kindly put it; this boy in my class read something wrong and thought it was a mistake and he pointed it out... my teacher had a full on mental breakdown which included screaming, crying and when the boy started crying because she was screeching at him she got even madder and then started crying herself it was so stupid because all he did was point out something that he thought was wrong and now he was like the teachers least favourite child in the whole bloody world it was so embarrassing for both of them. Anyway I learnt a lot but the teachers need to be replaced honestly.

"It was alright"

I learnt a lot here, and most of the teachers were super nice, but their standards are way to high, they expected my class to be able to do year 9 maths in year 5 and 6. One of my teachers divided the class into two, the smarter ones and the less smarter ones, and then labelled the less smarter ones as lazy and not concerned about their learning. Good school, good teachers except a few and it definitely made me more intelligent

"Don't send your children here!"

I went here for my entire primary school experience and can I just say it was horrible. The teachers were all two faced, science class was, quite literally, just a fitness video and that's it and a friend of mine at the time considers themselves downright bullied by a member of the faculty who remains there now. There is barely any space for the children to play in the older children school yard which is quite ludicrous considering the younger children's school yard is a significant amount bigger. I also never learned to divide there, they only taught I e system of each of the four parts of essential math so you either got it or you didn't. There's also a point to be made about the fact that, while I didn't realise it then, I had 0 friends or anyone I was close with the entire time and this was never once brought up by any teacher in the 6 years that I attended and, on top of that, they went as far to say that I was a very happy child with lots of friends when in reality the entirety of my last year I sat alone for the entire time. All in all I would not recommend you send your child here for the reasons I mention above but, on the other hand, I don't know a lot about the other schools in the area so take that into consideration.
