"Wonderful school community"

We've been at Ilam C of E for 3 years now and we couldn't be happier. The values of kindness, respect and compassion are woven into every aspect of school life, from the daily assemblies to the community events. My child has thrived in the nurturing environment and loves attending the Forest School lessons.

"An absolute gem"

Ilam C of E is an absolute gem of a school. From the warm welcome we received on our first visit to the constant support and encouragement my child receives, we feel so lucky to be a part of this school community. The teaching is excellent, the facilities are great and the values of the school are inspiring.

"Some positives, some areas for improvement"

We were at Ilam C of E for 5 years before moving to the area. While we loved the sense of community and the values of the school, we did find the teaching to be a bit inconsistent at times. The Forest School lessons were a highlight for our child, but we did feel that the school could do more to support children with SEN.
