"terrible community"

can't even look after special need students let alone anything in "their" so much for help students with their problem than be a caring and good secondary school this school does not deserve the reputation that it deserves for a good secondary school so bad that the teachers or safe guarding team can't even help with situations such as student harassment or helping with their students all they do is actively say " we're a great secondary school send your children here" you don't deserve to look after any children already your "assemblies" don't teach any student anything they continue with be a constant nightmare to other people that when they do something like that they just continue to not care what the adult has said to the entire year group and with the newer year 7 and 8's that soon the school will infest with cocky teenagers and bullies that make it hard for other people and they loose more students by the minute.

"Exceptional School Experience"

My son has settled in well at JHCS. The facilities are excellent, particularly the sports facilities. He's really engaged with the Inspire, Care, Succeed values. We're seeing great progress in his GCSE subjects. We're thoroughly impressed with the school.

"Horrific Headteacher."

Many wonderful teachers, but staff in place to help children with mental health are extremely poor. Headteacher is arrogant and self absorbed, makes pupils with mental health difficulties feel ashamed about their problems and at fault themselves for things they cannot control. Mr Stevens is the cause for students loosing their lives due to his selfishness and lack of any empathy.

"Excellent Support for SEND"

I've been really impressed with the support my child has received with their SEND needs. The SENCO, Mr T Myatt, has been fantastic. The school's inclusive culture and facilities make a huge difference to her confidence and learning. We feel very lucky to be part of the JHCS community.

"Run and keep running."

Worst secondary school I ever came across with 5 boys all going to different schools. One in this dump even fought to keep him out .but was told there was no room in the other 2 schools. But plenty in this dump. That alone tells a story. If you want your child safe stay away from this dump. Bulling is non stop with nothing been done. Even when they say they have done something. As soo as your child trys to fight back . His then punished by the school..

"don't recommend unless you want you child to be ruined!"

The education is good but the majority of the teachers suck. I remember one teacher mocked a girl for being shy, that same teacher made me cry. They don't care about your mental health no matter how much they say they do they don't help. They ruined my mental health and I lost all my friends due to that. It's a shit school and I don't recommend. xoxo

"read "

The actual education is good but majority of the teachers suck, I remember I had a teacher that mocked a student for being shy, he made me cry. I also had another teacher that made me and my mother cry. The school is not good for your mental health all they do is act like they care but don't make it better. They judge you and all around it's a shit school. xoxo

"Some Mixed Feelings"

My child is in their final year at JHCS and it's been a bit of a mixed experience for us. On the one hand, they've achieved great grades in their GCSEs and the PE department is superb. On the other hand, they've struggled with the pressures of school life and the options process was a bit confusing. Overall, we're satisfied but would like to see some improvements in support for mental health.

"Happy Memories at JHCS"

My now grown-up child had a wonderful time at JHCS. They thrived in the supportive environment and took advantage of the opportunities to develop their interests in sport and music. The Open Evenings were always well-organised and informative. We have many happy memories of their time at the school.

"stay away"

The school has disrespectful, racist and sexist staff. I know this as I go there. The school may be good at educating but the invironment in know way feels safe. Teachers start argument with students to get them in trouble and also swear regularly at them. I would hope that u chose another school than this one and I wish I never had to experience what I did at this school

"its alright."

Some of the teachers are great, others not so much. The school are terrible at remembering who is in charge of the child. I've had it before where I have allowed my child to do something and the school have done everything possible to stop that and punish the child for MY decision.
