Trafford Alternative Education Provision provides education for students with complex and undiagnosed SEND. Our broad and balanced flexible curriculum is designed to offer academic qualifications alongside developing personal development skills for life and work. We celebrate 'small steps' be it an improvement in academic achievement, attendance, behaviour, or personal development.

"Our daughter's journey at Trafford Alternative Education"

My daughter struggled in mainstream school due to her medical needs, but the staff at Trafford Alternative Education have been incredibly supportive and understanding. The 'Dare to Dream' motto is truly inspiring and has helped our daughter to overcome her challenges. The facilities and resources are excellent and I feel confident that she is receiving the best possible education.

"Mixed experience"

We've had a mixed experience with Trafford Alternative Education. While the staff is friendly and supportive, we've experienced some inconsistencies in the quality of teaching and resources. Our son has struggled to adjust to the flexible curriculum, but we're hoping that with time, he'll be able to settle in and make progress.

"A second chance for our son"

We were hesitant to send our son to Trafford Alternative Education, but the staff's dedication and commitment to helping him succeed have been outstanding. The 'Step Out' program has been particularly effective in addressing his behavioral issues and we've seen a significant improvement in his academic performance.

"A school that truly cares"

As a former parent, I can confidently say that Trafford Alternative Education is a school that truly cares about its students. The Executive Headteacher's message about removing barriers and opening new doors resonated deeply with me. Our son had a tough time in mainstream school, but at Trafford Alternative Education, he was able to thrive and reach his full potential.
