Longhoughton Church of England Primary School

We've had a mixed experience with Longhoughton Church of England Primary School. While our child has generally been happy and engaged in class, we've found the school's communication with parents to be inconsistent at times. For example, we've had to chase up missing homework and information about upcoming events. That being said, we've been pleased with the school's emphasis on creativity and outdoor learning, and the staff have been friendly and approachable when we've spoken to them.

Unfortunately, Longhoughton Church of England Primary School hasn't been the best fit for our child. The school's atmosphere and curriculum didn't align with our expectations, and we felt that the teachers were not adequately equipped to support our child's learning needs. While the school's facilities are nice, we couldn't overlook the issues we experienced with the school's approach to teaching and communication with parents.

My two children have been attending Longhoughton Church of England Primary School for the past three years and we've been thoroughly impressed with the education and care they've received. Their teachers, Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Jenkins, have been supportive and enthusiastic, and the school's facilities are modern and well-maintained. The school's focus on community and values has had a positive impact on our children's social skills and character development.
