Standish Community High School

As a parent of a Year 8 student, I have mixed feelings about Standish Community High School. On the one hand, the school has a lovely atmosphere, and the teachers are generally supportive and enthusiastic. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of communication from the school regarding my child's progress, and I feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and the wider community. Additionally, I was surprised to see that the school's social media presence is quite limited, which I think could be a missed opportunity to share the many excellent things that the school does. Overall, I think Standish Community High School is a good school, but it could be improved with a bit more attention to communication and community engagement.

As a parent of a Year 9 student, I was blown away by the warm welcome and inclusive atmosphere at Standish Community High School. The teachers are supportive, the facilities are excellent, and the values of academic achievement, personal growth, and lifelong fulfilment are truly evident in every aspect of the school. My child has thrived since joining the school, and I couldn't be more grateful!

As a former parent, I have nothing but praise for Standish Community High School. My child attended the school several years ago, and I was consistently impressed by the dedication and expertise of the teachers, as well as the excellent facilities and resources available to students. The school's values of 'Be Outstanding' are truly inspiring, and I have no doubt that the students who attend the school will go on to achieve great things. My only criticism is that the school's social media presence could be more active, but overall, I would highly recommend Standish Community High School to any parent considering a local school for their child.
