About Martha H School

Martha H School offers a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 5 and 18 with Autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Our vision is to provide a learning environment where young people can thrive, feel supported, safe and are then able to leave school happy with relevant experiences and outcomes to enable them to contribute to the wider community.

"A Home Away from Home"

I was a bit nervous about sending my daughter to Martha H, but the school has truly become a home away from home for her. The sensory garden and outdoor spaces have been a game-changer for her anxiety, and the staff are always so supportive and understanding. We love the 4Cs values and how they're embedded in every aspect of the school.

"Exceptional Support and Care"

My son thrived at Martha H, and we were so grateful for the exceptional support and care he received. The school's focus on individual needs and bespoke learning opportunities really made a difference for him. We were particularly impressed by the employability and independence programs, which helped him prepare for life after school.

"Mixed Experience"

We've had a mixed experience at Martha H. The staff are generally very supportive, and my child has benefited from the small group sizes and tailored learning. However, we've sometimes struggled with communication and consistency, particularly when it comes to external referrals and assessments. Overall, we're happy with the school, but there's definitely room for improvement.
