About Hawkedon Primary School

Hawkedon has a strong tradition of providing its children with an exceptional, balanced, education which goes beyond academic achievement. We are family school with past pupils returning as staff or becoming the parents of our next generation of children creating a strong sense of belonging and continuity in our community. This sense of belonging is reflected in our school motto of Belong, Be Kind, Achieve.

"Excellent Care and Support"

We've been blown away by the level of care and support our child receives at Hawkedon. The teachers are always available to discuss progress, and the facilities are top-notch. We're grateful for the extra-curricular activities, which have helped our child develop new skills and make friends.

"Some Room for Improvement"

We're generally happy with the school, but we've experienced some issues with communication and organisation. The teachers are lovely, and the children seem to enjoy the learning experiences. However, we feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep us informed about events and activities.

"Exceptional School Experience"

We've been incredibly happy with our experience at Hawkedon Primary School. The values of Belong, Be Kind, Achieve are truly embedded in every aspect of the school, from the teachers to the facilities. Our child has thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment, and we're grateful for the opportunities they've had.

"A Real Community Feeling"

We left Hawkedon a few years ago, but we still keep in touch with the friends we made there and attend events. The school's focus on community and relationships is truly unique, and we feel that our children received a well-rounded education that prepared them for secondary school.
