About River Academy

We are incredibly proud to have opened this exciting new secondary school benefiting from a multi-million pound building programme and state-of-the-art facilities. Our school, which opened its doors for the first time in September 2024, provides a fantastic and enriching environment for teaching and learning, student care and support; a place for students to thrive and succeed.

"Excellent facilities and values!"

We've had a fantastic experience at River Academy. The state-of-the-art facilities are a dream for the kids, and the focus on values like community and respect is exactly what we want for our children. Highly recommend!

"Some improvements needed"

We've had some ups and downs with River Academy. The facilities are great, but some of the teachers could improve their communication with parents. The values program is excellent, but we feel that the school could do more to support students with SEND.

"Great school so far!"

My child has been at River Academy for a year now, and it's been a great experience. The teachers are supportive, the curriculum is engaging, and the facilities are top-notch. We're really happy with our choice.

"Missed the community!"

We moved out of the area, so sadly our child had to leave River Academy. We really missed the community and the school spirit. We still keep in touch with the teachers and the other parents, and we're grateful for the experience.
