About Messing Primary School

Messing Primary School aims to provide teaching and learning that is stimulating, challenging and tailored to the needs of each individual child. We want our pupils to be enquiring learners who are able to pursue their interests, while receiving a high standard of education. Our school is set in idyllic rural surroundings, with its own sports field, sensory garden and play area.

"Best School in Essex!"

I've been blown away by the progress my child has made at Messing Primary. The Smiley Club is a highlight of their week and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. We love the family feel of the school and the values they teach are exactly what we want for our children.

"Love the PTFA Events!"

We've been really impressed with the school's PTFA events - the Summer Fete was amazing! The sense of community is wonderful and the staff are always so supportive. My child loves their teacher and the class has been so much fun. Can't fault it!

"Wonderful School with Fantastic Staff"

Messing Primary has exceeded all our expectations. The teachers are dedicated and the facilities are excellent. My child loves the sensory garden and the after-school activities are always so much fun. We feel so lucky to be part of this community!

"Mixed Feelings"

I have mixed feelings about Messing Primary. On the one hand, the school has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are generally very good. However, my child struggled with the homework load and I felt that some teachers were more engaged than others. Overall, it was a solid education, but not without its challenges.
