We are a vibrant, welcoming, ambitious and thriving school in North Colchester. With over 425 pupils on roll, we may be large in size, but we are proud of our strong family atmosphere where every child is known, valued, and supported. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful experiences that help pupils develop a lifelong love of learning.

"A Home from Home"

I've been so impressed with Brinkley Grove Primary School since my daughter started. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the facilities are top-notch. My daughter loves the OPAL program and the way the school encourages her to shine, it's really helped her confidence. Can't recommend it enough!

"An Outstanding School"

We've had a fantastic experience at Brinkley Grove. The school's values of SPARKS are really evident in everything they do, and the staff are passionate about helping the children achieve their best. My son has thrived here, and I've been really impressed with the way the school supports parents too.

"A Mixed Experience"

We had a good experience at Brinkley Grove when our son attended, but there were some aspects that didn't quite work for us. The school's curriculum was engaging, and the staff were generally supportive, but we found the communication between teachers and parents to be a bit patchy at times. Overall, it was a decent school, but not without its flaws.
