Main difficulty: low academic standards, some of the staff did not seem fully qualified to handle an international multi-cultural student population

Example: several classes were done without textbook or study notes to help students study at home. Feedback on student performance was done every few months few 5 minute zoom teacher/parent conferences which were too short to provide meaningful feedback
What could improve: improve staff vetting, particularly from the perspective of ability to work in a multicultural environment. Provide some material for students to study at home

Inclusion support: Poorly. the school support team for diverse learners was inadequate at best.

Main difficulty: Our family has moved a lot the last few years and our kids had to go to several international schools. The British international school at Mougins was by far the worst, both in terms of academics and in terms of quality of school staff (with few bright exceptions). We heard from other parents that it used to be a better school, but not anymore. Its location is great, though, at the heart of the French riviera. Luckly, we are moving again and our kids will go to a different school next year

Five changes of Head in 18 months, with key staff like the Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form leaving and the best teachers departing in July 2020. Teaching has been reported as not up to date with the English National Curriculum in Primary, with the school suggesting private tuition on top of the high fees when families ask for help.

Beautiful campus in a lovely part of the world. My children are no longer there. I hope it improves for those who are still there.

I attended Mougins School from age 4 to 15. I will always have incredibly fond memories of my time at Mougins.
