Wij zijn een middelbare school voor natuur, wetenschappen, plant, dier en milieu op een uitgestrekt domein van 47 hectare, vlakbij het station van Vilvoorde. Ongeveer 1020 leerlingen volgen bij ons na de algemene opleiding van de eerste graad studierichtingen zoals Natuurwetenschappen, Biotechnologische wetenschappen, biotechnieken, Natuur en milieu, Tuinbouw en Dierenzorg.

"Horteco - a hidden gem!"
We've had a fantastic experience at Horteco. The facilities are excellent, and the teachers are passionate about their subjects. Our child has thrived in the internship program, and we're so grateful for the opportunities they've had.

"A great choice for science lovers"
We chose Horteco for its excellent science programs, and we've not been disappointed. The school's emphasis on hands-on learning and experimentation has been a perfect fit for our child. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that we've found some of the extracurricular activities to be a bit disorganized.

"A wonderful school with a strong community"
We were part of the Horteco community for several years, and it was a truly enriching experience. The teachers are dedicated, the facilities are excellent, and the students are passionate about their subjects. The school's emphasis on sustainability and environmentalism really resonated with us. We still keep in touch with many of the families and staff - it's a testament to the strong relationships built at Horteco.
