"Welcoming and caring environment"
My child has been attending Gemeentelijke Basisschool Overijse for 2 years now and I have to say that the school has exceeded all my expectations. The school's values of 'denken voelen doen' (thinking feeling doing) really shine through in the way the teachers and staff interact with the children. The facilities are also excellent and the open days are very informative.

"Excellent school with wonderful teachers"
Although our child has moved on to secondary school, we still keep in touch with the teachers and staff at Gemeentelijke Basisschool Overijse. They were always very supportive and helpful during our child's time at the school. We were particularly impressed with the school's focus on 'duurzaam leren, duurzaam leven' (sustainable learning, sustainable living).

"Room for improvement in communication"
My child enjoys attending Gemeentelijke Basisschool Overijse and the teachers are all very friendly and approachable. However, I have found the communication between home and school to be a bit lacking at times. For example, it would be helpful to receive regular updates on my child's progress and any upcoming events. Overall, I would recommend the school but with the caveat that the communication could be improved.
