About GO! Basisschool De Groeiboom Oostende
Onze school is ontstaan met de fusie op 1 juli 1975 van de 6e voorbereidende klassen van het Koninklijk Atheneum I met de voorbereidende lagere afdeling van het Koninklijk Lyceum. Onze basisschool bestaat in haar huidige vorm uit een kleuterafdeling en een lagere afdeling. Daarnaast is het kinderdagverblijf ’t Groeiboompje tevens bij ons gehuisvest en biedt 14 opvangplaatsen.

"Fantastic School with a Warm Atmosphere"
We've been really pleased with the friendly staff and the way they support our child's learning journey. The 'De bouwstenen van het PPGO' program is very impressive, and we feel that our child is developing well at the school.

"A Great First Experience"
We've been really impressed with Basisschool GO! De Groeiboom so far. The teachers are great with our daughter, and we love the emphasis on outdoor learning and sustainability. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the communication could be better - sometimes it feels like we're not getting as much information as we'd like. Still, we're really happy with our choice!

"Wonderful School for My Son!"
I'm so grateful to have found this school for my son. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and approachable. We love the emphasis on creativity and problem-solving, and my son is really thriving in his classes. Highly recommended!

"A Mixed Experience"
We had a bit of a mixed experience with Basisschool GO! De Groeiboom. Our child really enjoyed the extracurricular activities and the location is great. However, we felt that the communication with the teachers could be better, and sometimes our child didn't get the support they needed. Overall, it was an okay experience, but we're glad to be moving on to a new school that better suits our child's needs.

"Wonderful School Experience"
We have been impressed with the facilities at De Groeiboom and the way the teachers encourage the children to explore and learn. The 't Groeiboompje' program has been a highlight for our child. Highly recommended!

"Good School with Some Room for Improvement"
We are overall happy with De Groeiboom, but sometimes feel that our child's needs are not being met. The school's focus on creativity and self-expression is great to see, but sometimes the classrooms can be a bit noisy.
