About Vrije Basisschool - Paridaens

Paridaens is a school in the center of Leuven surrounded by a piece of the Dijle and a beautiful park. A school with the atmosphere of a city school, where we create the atmosphere and coziness of a village school and let our students grow up with children from all over the world, Leuven and the surrounding area. A world where children can develop and grow by learning with and from each other.

"Wonderful school and teachers!"

We were immediately welcomed by the friendly staff at Paridaens. Our child has excelled in the lagere school program and we love the focus on individual development and learning. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the teachers are dedicated and passionate.

"Cooperative and inclusive environment"

Our child has been thriving at Paridaens, thanks to the cooperative and inclusive environment fostered by the teachers and staff. We appreciate the emphasis on creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving skills. Highly recommend!

"Some concerns about pace and resources"

While our child is generally happy at Paridaens, we've noticed that some of their classmates seem to be struggling with the pace of the lagere school program. We also wish there were more resources available for special needs students. Hope the school can address these issues!

"Great experience, but could improve on communication"

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Paridaens, and our child excelled in the kleuterschool program. However, we felt that communication between teachers and parents could be improved, especially during transitions and special events. Still, a wonderful school with a true sense of community!
