Vrije Basisschool De Hei(r)akker is a school located in a green environment where nature and education go hand in hand. We believe that every child is unique and deserves the chance to grow and flourish in a stimulating and safe environment. Our school consists of a kindergarten department and a primary department.

"Fantastic school with a great community!"
We've been at De Hei(r)akker for 3 years now and it's been an amazing experience. The school's focus on nature and sustainability is really inspiring, and the staff are always so supportive and enthusiastic. My child has thrived here and made wonderful friends.

"Wonderful school with a beautiful play area!"
We're so happy with our choice of school here. The play area is fantastic and the teachers are all so kind and dedicated. My child loves going to school each day and is learning so much.

"Mixed feelings about the school"
We were at De Hei(r)akker for 2 years, and while the staff were lovely and the nature focus was great, we felt that the school could have been more organized and responsive to parents' concerns. Our child did okay, but didn't thrive as much as we'd have liked.
