About St Peter's Church of England First School

St Peter's Church of England First School is a small, but ambitious school located in beautiful West Somerset. We cater for children aged 4-9 years; there are four classes and each class is assigned a class teacher responsible for the education and pastoral needs of the child. We are very proud of our school and are delighted to welcome visitors.

"A Little Oasis in Taunton!"

We've been at St Peter's for 2 years now and I'm so impressed with the values they're instilling in our child. The teachers are kind, patient and genuinely care about each child's well-being. The facilities are also impressive, especially the outdoor play area. Our child loves attending and I feel confident they're getting a great education.

"Good, but some areas for improvement"

We've had a generally positive experience at St Peter's, but there are a few areas where we think the school could improve. For example, we've found the communication between teachers and parents to be a bit patchy at times, and we've had to chase up information or concerns. However, the teachers are generally engaging and our child seems to enjoy attending. We're hoping the school will continue to work on these areas and provide an even better experience for both our child and other families.

"A wonderful school - our child thrived!"

Our child attended St Peter's for 3 years and we couldn't be happier with their experience. The school's emphasis on Christian values really resonated with us and we felt our child was well-supported during their time there. The teachers were always approachable and communicative, and we loved the regular parent-teacher meetings. We're so grateful for the education and experience St Peter's provided for our child.
