Tennyson Road Primary School is an oversubscribed and friendly three-form entry primary school on two sites. We believe very strongly in the need to form a close partnership between parents, staff, and pupils. Our children are happy, challenged and able to make an individual contribution to the success of our school and we endeavour to create a positive learning environment for all pupils in which they can thrive.

"Lovely school with wonderful staff!"

My child has been attending Tennyson Road Primary for the past 3 years and I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the way the school operates. The facilities are excellent and the staff are always so friendly and willing to help. The values of the school are also something that I really appreciate, my child has become a more confident and empathetic person since joining the school.

"Good school, but could improve on communication"

We moved to the area recently and our child was lucky enough to secure a place at Tennyson Road. The school has a great atmosphere and the teachers are all very knowledgeable. However, I do feel that the school could improve on keeping parents informed about what's going on, sometimes it feels like we're in the dark about upcoming events. Overall, it's a good school and I'm glad we made the decision to send our child here.

"Excellent school with a caring community"

Tennyson Road Primary has exceeded all of my expectations! The staff are so welcoming and supportive, and the school's values of kindness and respect really shine through. My child is thriving in their class and loves going to school every day. I've also been impressed with the extra-curricular activities on offer, my child has joined the school choir and is loving every minute of it!
