About Frederick Holmes School
Frederick Holmes School is a community special school catering for pupils with severe physical/ learning disabilities and those with profound and multiple needs aged 2-19. It is a school where all children are valued and all staff strive to deliver an inspirational curriculum in a supportive and caring environment. We welcome children and their parents and carers into a friendly, hardworking school where respect for others, positive attitudes and independence are nurtured and each child is given the opportunity to flourish and reach their potential.

"Some initial teething problems"
We've had a bit of a bumpy start with Frederick Holmes, but we're trying to be patient and work through the issues. The school's facilities are wonderful, and the staff seem genuinely caring. However, we've had some communication breakdowns and concerns about the curriculum.

"A wonderful school for our child"
We are so grateful to have found Frederick Holmes School. The staff are caring and dedicated, and the facilities are amazing - our child loves the hydrotherapy pool and rebound room. We feel confident that our child is receiving the best possible education and support.

"Excellent school with a supportive community"
We were a bit nervous about moving our child to a new school, but Frederick Holmes has exceeded our expectations. The school's values of respect, positivity and independence are really evident in the way the staff and children interact. Our child has made great progress and loves attending the school.

"A great experience for our child"
We were impressed by the school's commitment to inclusive education and the variety of programs on offer, including the horticulture and Duke of Edinburgh schemes. Our child had a great time and made some wonderful friends. We're grateful for the support and guidance we received from the staff.
