Kirby Primary Academy

diabolical school for children, especially those with special needs. sensory toys being taken away from them, children locked inside classrooms without play for losing "tricky words" (these are young children!) Sensory rooms not being available for all sen children. Senco's changing constantly and having no real experience of how to properly support all children. children with severe anxiety not being able to access the equipment they need to access education. And the appropriate paperwork regarding reports, ehcp applications and one plans. All out of date, or not even started. numerous children and parents reporting this.

My child loves going to Kirby Primary Academy. The teachers are so kind and supportive, and the facilities are top-notch. I love the values they instill in the children, especially 'Be Kind' - it's wonderful to see them practicing empathy and compassion.

Kirby Primary Academy has some wonderful aspects, but I'm not entirely convinced it's the right fit for us. The Year 2 teacher is fantastic, but I've had some issues with communication with the office. The facilities are lovely, but the after-school programs are pricey. We're still deciding whether to stay or leave.

We were so sad to leave Kirby Primary Academy, but the school helped our child grow into a confident and curious learner. The forest school program was a highlight, and the community events were always so much fun. We're grateful for our time at Kirby.
