GO! Freinetschool Het Wijdeland Brustem

I am so grateful to have sent my child to Het Wijdeland. The school's focus on self-directed learning and respect for each other has been amazing to see. The facilities are also fantastic, with a wonderful playground and a beautiful school garden. We feel so lucky to be a part of this community!

I have mixed feelings about Het Wijdeland. On the one hand, I love the school's values and the way they encourage children to be independent and curious. However, I have found the communication with teachers to be a bit hit-and-miss at times, and my child has struggled with some of the more free-form aspects of the curriculum. Overall, it's been a good experience, but not without its challenges.

My child had a wonderful time at Het Wijdeland and I have nothing but praise for the school. The teachers are passionate and dedicated, and the emphasis on exploration and learning through play is just right. My child has grown into a confident and curious young person, and I know they will always remember their time at Het Wijdeland fondly.
