About Boroughbridge High School

We are an 11-16 community comprehensive school which serves Boroughbridge and the surrounding area. Our belief in 'Aspiration for all' means that our students are at the heart of our decision making. We strive to ensure that all students leave our school, not only with the qualifications they need to access the next stage of their education or career of choice, but with the skills and confidence to make an active contribution to the communities to which they belong.

"Great experience for our son"

Our son has had a great experience at Boroughbridge High School. He has really enjoyed the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and the school's sporting opportunities. The teachers are all very supportive and the school's values of being ambitious, respectful and resilient really resonate with us. We are confident that our son will do well when he leaves.

"Excellent Support for our daughter's needs"

We have been thoroughly impressed with the support that Boroughbridge High School has provided for our daughter. The Learning Support Team have been fantastic and have really helped her to thrive. The school's values of being ambitious, respectful and resilient really shine through in everything they do. We are so grateful to have our daughter at this school.

"Mixed experience"

We had a mixed experience at Boroughbridge High School. On the one hand, our daughter loved the school's music program and the teachers were all very supportive. On the other hand, we felt that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep us informed about what was going on. Overall, it was an average experience and we are not sure if we would choose the school again.
